Wanted: Production Supervisor

Perform as a leader in a multi-shift manufacturing environment providing support and direction to the various departments and work teams.

Qualifications (required):
- BS/BA college degree (engineering/science preferred) with two years minimum related experience or equivalent experience.
- Ability to lead by example in a fast-paced multi-shift manufacturing environment.
- Willing to work all shifts and weekends.
- High standards of personal integrity, business ethics, and values.

- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and listening skills at all levels.
- Committed to goals with ability to execute plans.
- Good analytical judgment with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to adjust to multiple demands and shifting work priorities.
- Manufacturing background with good understanding of process, machinery, products, and costs.

Accountability:
- Plant safety.
- Manage and oversee all quality control functions; i.e., train employees, ensure program compliance, adapt and implement new quality procedures.
- Motivate personnel, work teams, and departments through effective coaching and motivational leadership.
- Facilitate the effective interchange of information between work teams and departments.
- Manage and oversee up to 8 team supervisors/team leaders and 25 employees.
- Establish and maintain sound relationships with employees to engender open communication.
- Establish priorities and set schedules to ensure production requirements are met for on-time deliveries.
- Set up, operate, and maintain equipment to ensure production requirements and goals are met.
- Install new equipment and implement new processes.
- Compile and report production/process information and statistics to management.
- Oversee plant and grounds maintenance and ensure PM schedules are followed.
- Maintain procedure manuals.
- Record and file maintenance.
- Reports to Production Manager.

Other Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with clean driving history.
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to write training and procedure manuals.
- Travel up to 10% of the time.
