Murus SIPs are panelized wall and roof sections that are custom-manufactured from your plans. Instead of building a structure stick by stick, your crew simply erects the panels to form each wall and/or roof section. Once the panels are erected, you have a structure with insulation in place, sheathed in OSB inside and out, and ready for mechanicals and finishing work. On May 23, 2007, SIPs were adopted into the International Residential Code (IRC), making additional engineering and documentation for residential SIP construction unnecessary in many code jurisdictions.
