Builders > SIP Overview, Pre-Cutting
Adding factory pre-cutting to your Murus SIP order can markedly reduce installation time, and can greatly cut down on site scrap and waste disposal costs.
Panel Pre-cut drawings are developed by Murus using architectural drawings and specifications provided by the builder or client. Once the Panel Pre-Cut drawings have been customer-approved, the dimensions for window and door openings, edge routs, bevels, and any other cutting requirements are programmed electronically into Murus’ CNC (Computer Numerical Controlled) pre-cutting equipment, and the machine does the rest. Murus’ CNC factory pre-cutting equipment is a fully automated, gantry-style system designed for cutting accuracy. The size of the machine allows whole wall or roof sections to be assembled on the cutting table and cut as one unit to insure alignment integrity from panel to panel. After cutting, the section is disassembled and each panel is labeled to correspond to the Panel Pre-Cut drawings for identification and assembly on the jobsite.
The following is a list of the drawings and specifications Murus will need to pre-cut your order.
